What is the referral process for parents/guardians? Step #1: Contact the classroom teacher regarding the concern Step #2: The classroom teacher will discuss the concern with one of the following individuals:
Guidance Counselor: If the child HAS NOT been referred to SAP this school year
Student Assistance Counselor: If a behavioral concern is present and the child HAS been referred to SAP this school year
Instructional Interventionist: If an academic concern is present and the child HAS been referred to SAP this school year
Step #3: Once the concern has been discussed, that individual will contact the parent/guardian to discuss the concern further and to determine the proper course of action
